Plain English: what we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 3 November 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by The Gorniaks Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12489216). Registered office: 25 Leeds Old Road, Bradford, England, BD3 8JX. We are the data controller for the personal information described here.
Questions about your data: email thegorniaksltd@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you send a booking enquiry: your first and last name, email address, organisation, phone number (optional), the type of session you are interested in, your event date and location, and anything you tell us about your event.
When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
When you browse the site: basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived. This is collected by our website platform, Squarespace, to keep the site secure and to give us anonymous visitor statistics.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details to reply to you, check Toby's availability, plan and deliver your event, and send any quotes, contracts or invoices. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract. Where we keep in touch after an event, we do so because we have a legitimate interest in maintaining the working relationship; you can ask us to stop at any time.
We use browsing information to run and secure the website and to understand which pages are useful (legitimate interests, and your consent where cookies are involved; see below).
Who we share it with
Only with the services that help us run the site and reply to you:
- Squarespace hosts this website and processes form submissions and site statistics.
- Google provides our email, and serves the fonts used on this site.
- YouTube plays the videos on this site. Videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and only connect to YouTube when you press play.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We will share information with event organisers only where it is needed to deliver an event you have booked, and with authorities only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within two years. Records of bookings, contracts and invoices are kept for six years after the event, as UK tax law requires. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. You can also ask for it in a portable format. Email thegorniaksltd@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This site uses:

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Preferences button at the bottom of the screen.
Changes
If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
